Premier League Predictions, Sunday 11th March

After an exciting day of football on Saturday, we’re back again with our Premier League Predictions for Sunday’s matches. Our experts correctly predicted the result in five out of seven of yesterday’s games. This included the draw between Huddersfield and Swansea.  Here’s what they have to say today.

Arsenal v Watford (13:30 GMT)

Watford come into this game having lost just one of their last five.  Hosts Arsenal meanwhile, have only picked up 3 points once in this time frame.  After losing the EFL Cup final to Manchester City, there has been great unrest amongst the Arsenal fans.  The team’s form seems to be suffering as a consequence.  Despite heavy reinforcements in the transfer window, Arsene Wenger can’t seem to get his side going at the moment. With his job potentially on the line, this game is a must win for the Gunners. Watford will make tough opposition but we predict Arsenal to come out on top to get their form back on track.

Scoreline Prediction: Arsenal 3-2 Watford
Most Likely Goalscorer: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Bournemouth v Tottenham (16:00 GMT)

In Sunday’s only other match 12th placed Bournemouth host 4th placed Tottenham.  The visitors will be hurting after their midweek exit from the Champions League, going down 2-1 to Juventus.  They will be keen to bounce back and stay on track to qualify for the competition again next season. Bournemouth are one of a number of teams stuck in the relegation battle. A couple of bad results could see them dragged down the table. They will be trying everything they can to stay out of danger. It’s likely Tottenham will be too strong for them in this one. We’re going for at Spurs win.

Scoreline Prediction: Bornemouth 0-2 Tottenham
Most Likely Goalscorer: Harry Kane

Let us know what you think of our predictions? Our experts will be back again to have their say on future games.  In the meantime, we hope you enjoy today’s Premier League action!
